Anya worked as a nurse for over 15 years in women's health services. She became an LVN while serving in the U.S. Army. Most of her nursing experience has been working in private practice OBGYN offices caring for women throughout their lifespan.
Anya is passionate about holistic care with a foundation rooted in the legacy of African American midwives and is currently enrolled in midwifery school. She has completed the SMC Full Circle Doula Training with renowned midwife, Shafia Monroe "Queen Mother of a Midwife Movement" and is passionate about improving maternity care for families of color.
Natalie is great and her bio would go here :)
Sara has worked as a bedside RN for over 10 years in a variety of settings, but her passion has always been maternal health, particularly working with the birthing woman. As an educator and advocate for patients and their families, she empowers birthing people to make informed decisions about their care during the birth process. She desires to improve communication and teamwork between patients and their healthcare providers, not only to improve patient satisfaction, but also to reduce maternal morbidity and mortality.
Danielle has 15 years experience working with several OB/GYN offices and has gained extensive knowledge in that field to support and reassure you during your pregnancy. Danielle has been serving families in a doula capacity as well for the past year.
